why hello there, awards show season

The nominations for the Independent Spirit Awards were announced today. No gigantic shockers with Precious, Amreeka, (500) Days of Summer, The Last Station, and Sin Nombre making up the best feature category (although somehow Anvil got nominated for best documentary and The Cove didn't). And I love Flight of the Conchords as much as the next girl, but really? Jemaine Clement for Best Supporting Actor in Gentlemen Broncos? Seriously?
