singing my song with his words

this awesome comic pretty much describes EXACTLY how i feel about the best actor category this year. first off, bridges is gonna win. there'll be no shocker there. secondly, let's be real people. bridges should have won for lebowski, end of story. but the academy screwed it up and he didn't, and they feel bad about it and this year he did a character movie where he had to sing and pretend to be drunk and he was good (as usual) so they're gonna make up for the huge ass mistake they made 12 years ago and give it to him. and i guess i'll feel pretty ok about it cause i love me some bridges.

but...the thing is that someone else seriously deserves to win. and that someone is colin firth in a single man. he's unbelievable in that movie and although i hate to say it, he's way better than the dude this year. c'mon academy, don't listen to the chicken! give it to firth!
