IMPORTANT NOTE: we all remember a certain winner of last year's winner of the sundance audience award, grand jury prize and special jury prize, right? you know, the third film in sundance history ever to win BOTH the grand jury and special jury prizes AND the ONLY film to EVER to win both audience awards at sundance and toronto?? of course, we remember! it's called precious: based on the novel 'push' by sapphire and it's nominated in pretty much every major category at this year's oscars. dude!!!
rad!! also, i would like to point out that the Audience Award for U.s. Dramatic – happythankyoumoreplease - is written and directed (and i think acted in a small role) by Josh Radnor, aka Ted from How I Met Your Mother. He finally gets to join the NPH and Jason Segel ranks of doing awesome things outside that show! (alyson hannigan would also qualify, although all the awesome things she's done were pre-himym)
