Christmas came early!

A new drunk history from Funny or Die/Derek Waters. Ryan Gosling just had to put the cherry on top of his killer year.

Also, it's Jim Carrey's best role in years.

For the uninitiated, catch some of the past genius here.

if you build it, they will come

all right, you know how i feel about taylor lautner (and his identical twin), but I appreciate a little field of dreams nostalgia (probably my favorite inspirational sports movie, and, if you know me, that's saying something) combined with humor at the expense of the NFL lockout. Plus, you have an appearance by Shoeless Joe Jackson in the form of old Ray Liotta.

can't wait for the movies?

Tired of release dates for next year or the popularly vague "coming soon"? Then do what these guys do, just make your own version! Bonus points if you can get Jaleel White to play Martin Lawrence.

Pacey Soup for the Teenage Soul

One man's struggle to continue celebrating the greatest television character ever. Period.

Apparently Funny or Die's embed codes hate me right now, so you'll have to go check out Pacey-con on their own site.

I don't wanna wait!!!

**updated with the video! hi pacey!

snakes and leeches

um, for reals, how did I not know that these exist? I'm holding all of you responsible for not alerting me to the genius. Seriously, every one of them is amazing (every one of the official ones, at least, some of the copycats are less incredible). So this is my thank you to you, Derek Waters, and to every one of the history majors/lovers you got drunk. Let drunk history teach you about...

William Henry Harrison:

Abraham Lincoln and Fredrick Douglass:

Alexander Hamilton:

these are just my 3 favorites, but the others (featuring the likes of John C. Reilly, Jack Black, Crispin Glover, and Danny McBride) are also amazing...

noooooooooooooooo!!!

it's a sad day for us all. Apparently some movie producers are really cracking down on their movie's distribution on youtube. Now, this wouldn't be particularly shocking or disturbing news, except for the movie in question is "Downfall", the film that brought us Hitler's reactions to the current news stories. So youtube is slowly removing them. sigh.

So enjoy while you can, ladies and gentlemen. Hitler is a cowboys fan is already no more. You can still enjoy his reaction to Kanye's interruption of Taylor Swift here. (I feel like Jack Ryan in Clear and Present Danger trying to see everything on Ritter's computer before it's deleted. And if you didn't get that reference you are probably not my sister or father).

Thankfully, we still have Funny or Die to give us Hitler's reaction to the news that Hitler reaction videos will be removed:

oh, franco

I really want this to be funnier. Starts well but I think they thought the joke could go on for way longer than it should have. Either way, it's a much better idea for Franco than guest starring on a soap opera.

can sandy bullock just pause everything just to hang out with the cast of speed for a day?*

it's a little hit or miss, but I appreciate Tiffany Amber Thiessen (sorry teen stars of my youth, you can't just drop your middle name and expect me to go along with it (I'm looking at YOU, Brian Austin Green!)) responding to Jimmy Fallon's attempts to host a Saved By the Bell reunion. Too bad People Magazine stole some of his thunder...

*by the way, the answer to the above question is yes, yes she can. as long as "the cast of speed" consists of keanu, jeff daniels, ortiz, cameron from ferris bueller, and the worst actor of all time ("yeah there's a bomb, some funny joke!")

teaching money to the kidz

the real cause of the recession is that learning about money is just so damn boring. thank goodness we have ABC to pimp my 401(k). apparently, in order to appeal to the twitter generation, ABC is airing "UN-BROKE: What You Need to Know About Money." ABC describes the program as "an unconventional look at the fundamentals of everyday finance with all the facts about credit cards, mortgages, stocks and bonds, investing and 401(k)'s, in a fresh new format combining information and humor." I appreciate the use of celebrities, but I'm not sure I wanna take financial advice from Christian Slater.

Thankfully, Seth Green is there to make it awesome:
