happy early half birthday, Kim!

yup, apparently the tv gods decided to celebrate your half birthday this year, Ms. KT. I give you:

Glee

+

Gaga

for all my fellow nerds

this shit's sweet (though I think Colbert still wins for my favorite cover of this song). Gotta love a little Star Wars mixed with some Jay-Z with just a dash of Leia hair-bun headphones...

thanks to Cole for the link!

You know what? I'm just gonna say it...

I can't fucking wait to see Clash of the Titans. Go ahead, mock me. I'm not ashamed. I'm a smart girl; I see smarty-pants movies. My favorite movie of last year was a documentary about dolphin slaughter in Japan. And, currently, Clash of the Titans is the movie I am most excited about this year (keep in mind, it's still early). I've got the release date marked on my calendar. I make people shut up when the commercial comes on. I'm that girl. For some inexplicable reason I grew up with the original (somehow my sister did not, and sometimes I cry a little for her). I mean, come on.

I've taken some heat for this. Apparently you do not all agree (your loss, dudes). And it's very possible that a week from Friday, this link will tell me that the critics aren't on my side, either. But, seriously, tell me you don't want to watch this, i dare you:

sometimes I just need to air these things out with friends.

"that totally explains the wolf thing!!!"- nancy case

are you ready for the best thing you've ever seen?? you sure? cause I don't know that you are. prepare yourself... after searching high and low for taylor lautner's twin...

...he has officially been located:

I'm not sure who the first person who spotted this was, but I'm pretty sure they deserve some sort of medal or something.

and, yes, upon seeing it my sister straight-faced, with an intensity usually reserved for Cage eyes, "That totally explains the wolf thing!!"

Happy St. Patty's Day!

I actually feel pretty dirty about posting this somewhat offensive bastardization of one of my all time favorite movies (and characters! I heart you, Jack Skellington), but it is holiday appropriate...
